The main function for a Ladle refining furnace (LRF) is to refine the primary liquid steel received from EAF. Reduction operation can be realized inside ladle furnace, meanwhile the temperature of the liquid steel is rised, deoxidization, desulphurization, degassing, alloying are carried out, Argon-blowing for stirring of the liquid steel, and the quality of the liquid steel improved.
