To be as one high-tech company, TYMEC was honored “The first batch of the high-tech enterprises” by Shaanxi Municipal Science and Technology Commission in 2008; And was awarded “Technical Center of Electrical Furnace ” in Xi’an in 2010.
TYMEC headquarter is in Xi’an High-tech Industrial Development Zone, which is to be as the management center and technology R & D base. The workshop is 2000㎡ area, which is for product manufacturing, assembly and testing before delivery.
There are total 200 staff, includes 50 engineers are dedicated to company development. With its own R&D and innovations, TYMEC is able to design and fabricate complete sets of high-tech metallurgical equipment and auxiliary equipment for the whole production line..
TYMEC has got ISO9001 QC Certificate and CE Certificate, and has won 15 National patents such as New-type Ladle Refining Furnace, scrap preheating equipment etc.
The main products are electric arc furnace (EAF) for steelmaking, ladle refining furnace (LF), smelting reduction electric ironmaking furnace, set of new-type scrap preheating device to complete equipment and their auxiliaries.
TYMEC has supplied over 300 sets of electric arc furnaces (EAF) for steelmaking and LF for domestic and overseas steel plants, which is important for the development of electric furnace steelmaking and liquid steel refining after converter steelmaking. Furnaces from TYMEC has reached international market successfully, such as Turkey, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Iran, Russia, Vietnam, Nicaragua and Taiwan region etc. It’s noted that TYMEC has many cooperation with SMS SIEMAG and SMS MEVAC in Germany.
